Arrest following fatal shooting in Manitoba First Nation: RCMP
A 53-year-old man has been arrested following a fatal shooting near Ebb and Flow First Nation.
On Sunday around 7:45 a.m., Ste. Rose RCMP responded to a reported shooting on Highway 278.
When they arrived, a 34-year-old man was found injured beside a truck near the community’s arena.
He was taken to a hospital in Dauphin, where he died from his injuries.
A suspect was identified, and RCMP arrested a 53-year-old man at a home in the community without incident. He remains in custody and charges haven’t been officially filed.
RCMP continues to investigate.
