Weather causing multiple highway closures in Manitoba
Several highways in Manitoba, including one heading to the U.S. border, are closed due to winter weather.
According to Manitoba 511, Highway 75 from Winnipeg to the United States border has closed as of Monday afternoon due to blowing snow and icy roads.
Other highways in Manitoba that are closed include:
- Highway 10, from the south junction of Highway 5 to Ethelbert;
- Highway 83, from Roblin to Highway 57; and
- Highway 422, from Highway 23 to Highway 205 near Rosenort.
Drivers are advised that closure gates and signs advising of closures are not always visible.
