6 in custody after fatal stabbing at CTrain station
At around 6:30 p.m., police were called to the Marlborough CTrain station for reports of a stabbing. When they arrived, they found a man with what appeared to be stab wounds.
Victim died of injuries in hospital
The Calgary Police Homicide Unit is investigating an incident at a train station in the city’s northeast that left one man dead on Saturday evening.
At around 6:30 p.m., police were called to the Marlborough CTrain station for reports of a stabbing. When they arrived, they found a man with what appeared to be stab wounds, police said in a statement.
He was transported to the hospital in life-threatening conditions where he later died of his injuries.
Police have 6 people in custody linked to the fatal incident and say there is no danger to the public.
An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday.
