Habitat for Humanity: Ride through the Rockies, supported by Global Calgary & 770 CHQR

August 20-22, 2021

Ride Through the Rockies is a three-day cycling event that challenges 30 experienced cyclists to ride over 300 km through the Rocky Mountains and raise funds for Habitat for Humanity Southern Alberta.

Over the past eight years, Ride Through The Rockies has raised over $700,000 to help local families build strength, stability and independence through affordable homeownership.

This year, 30 riders will take part in this three-day challenge. As Team Captains, they will invite friends and family to join the Virtual Ride on August 21, 2021.

Please note we are operating in accordance with all AHS COVID-19 protocols to ensure the safety of all participants.

Your support helps families through Habitat for Humanity

Habitat for Humanity Southern Alberta is a non-profit organization that brings the community together to help local families build strength, stability and independence through affordable homeownership.

Families purchase their homes with no down payment and no interest, and mortgage payments never exceed more than 25 percent of each family’s total household income.

Since 1990, Habitat has partnered with more than 300 families across southern Alberta, affecting the lives of nearly 900 children.
