Two people were found dead after a collision involving a UP express train on Monday night.
People were found near Eglinton Avenue West and Weston Road late Monday
Two people were found dead after a collision involving a UP express train on Monday night.
Police were called to the the area of Eglinton Avenue West and Weston Road at about 10:05 p.m. after receiving reports of someone struck by a train.
Officers located two people who were pronounced dead at the scene.
Toronto paramedics said they assessed a man and a woman, but did not transport them to hospital.
Police were on the scene investigating and urge anyone who witnessed anything to come forward.
According to UP Express, a person was hit by the UP train west of Bloor GO. UP Express service was not running to or from Union as a result.
