Driver dies after overnight collision in Vaughan
One man has died following a late-night collision on Hwy. 27 in Vaughan.
York Regional Police said it happened shortly before 11:30 p.m., between Rutherford Road and Major Mackenzie Drive West, in Woodbridge.
One of the drivers, a man in his 60s, subsequently died of his injuries, police said.
The man who was driving the other vehicle sustained minor injuries, police said.
Police have not said what caused the collision.
The Major Collision Investigations Unit is looking into the deadly crash.
Hwy. 27 is closed between Rutherford Road and Major Mackenzie Drive West as police investigate the collision.
