Female sexually assaulted near Yonge-Dundas, male suspect outstanding
Toronto police are searching for a male suspect who allegedly sexually assaulted a female victim at a stop sign in the downtown core.
The incident happened on Oct. 19 near Yonge Street and Dundas Street East.
Toronto police said they were called to that area at about 8:05 p.m. for reports of a sexual assault.
Investigators report that a female was in that vicinity when she realized a male was following her. They said the male allegedly sexually assaulted the female when she stopped at a stop light before fleeing the area.
He is described as five-foot-seven with a medium build and black facial hair.
The suspect was last seen wearing a red jacket, a white/black baseball hat, and blue pants.
