Man dies after being hit by dump truck in Whitchurch-Stouffville
A man has died after being hit by a dump truck in Whitchurch-Stouffville on Tuesday morning, York Regional Police said.
Paramedics responded to a call around 8:28 a.m. near Warden Avenue and Kennedy Road about a dump truck hitting a pedestrian.
An elderly man was taken to hospital where he later died, police said.
They said the driver remained on scene.
Davis Drive between Warden Avenue and Kennedy Road is currently closed for the collision investigation, police said.
