Police ID victims of double homicide in Toronto’s west end

Police have identified the victims in a double homicide in Toronto’s west end Tuesday morning.
The victims were Akim Fleming, 33, and Rajiv Ralph, 31, Toronto police said in a news release on Wednesday. Both were from Toronto.
Police were called to the Hickory Tree Road and Lawrence Avenue West area at about 4:40 a.m. for the sound of gunshots.
That’s where they located the two men with injuries.
Both men died in hospital.
Investigators are asking any witnesses or anyone in the area with dashboard camera or surveillance video to come forward.
Anyone with information is being asked to contact police at 416-808-7400, or leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers.
