Remains of man missing since 2018 found in Richmond Hill, police say
After forensic examination, police say the remains were confirmed to be of Kevin Bonada Rosas, a Richmond Hill man who was last seen over five years ago.

York Regional Police say they’re investigating after the remains of a 30-year-old man last seen over five years ago were found in Richmond Hill.
In a news release Tuesday, police say human remains buried in the yard of a residence on Elmwood Avenue were found on June 5.
After forensic examination, police say the remains were confirmed to be of Kevin Bonada Rosas.
Rosas was last seen at his residence on Elmwood Avenue on June 21 in 2018, and was officially reported missing by family five days later.
Police say they have been investigating Rosas’s disappearance since April 2021 after deeming it “suspicious.”
His death is being treated as a homicide. Police say the cause of death is not being released at this time.
Officers are asking anyone with information to contact police or submit a tip anonymously to Crime Stoppers.
