Person who went missing earlier this week in Winnipeg is found, police say
A 23-year-old person who hadn’t been seen or heard from since Tuesday, when they were in Winnipeg’s Wolseley and West Broadway areas, has been safely located.
A 23-year-old person who hadn’t been seen or heard from since Tuesday, when they were in Winnipeg’s Wolseley and West Broadway areas, has been safely located.
Police issued a news release on Thursday, asking for the public’s help in locating the person.
On Friday, an updated release said they had been located, but no information was provided on where or when.
A previous version of this story included the person’s name and photograph. Those have been removed now that they are located, in order to protect their privacy.
