Winnipeg police issue silver alert for missing senior last seen near Seven Oaks Avenue and Scotia Street
Winnipeg police have issued a silver alert for a missing 70-year-old.
Deborah Eccles was last seen in the vicinity of Seven Oaks Avenue and Scotia Street around 2 p.m. Sunday afternoon, Winnipeg police said in a news release. Eccles is known to frequent area parks, according to the release.
Eccles is described as 5 feet, 2 inches tall with brown eyes and short grey hair. The 70-year-old was last seen possibly wearing a grey sweater and jeans, police said.
The Winnipeg Police Service activates a silver alert when a vulnerable adult person is reported missing, the release said.
Police are concerned for Eccles’s wellbeing and ask anyone with information regarding their whereabouts to contact the missing persons unit at 204-986-6250.
